Lisvane Festival Exhibition

The exhibition held as part of the Lisvane Festival was very much enjoyed by those that came. 43 paintings were on display, mostly for sale, and a few sales were made. It’s a pity that the exhibition (in the Memorial Hall) is somewhat removed from all the fête activities down in the field.

The winner of the Sir Julian Hodge Festival Trophy this year was Ian Philpot, for his watercolour of ‘Slaters’ Bridge, Little Langdale’, shown above. Second was Dot Jackson for her acrylic of ‘Pen Y Fan’ and third Lara Kerem for her pen and ink of ‘Michigan 1882'.
