(Above) This pastel copy by Noelle Walsh of an album cover rewarded her with the Trophy in 2016, scoring 11 points.
2017
(Above right) Paul Arnott won the trophy in 2017, also with 11 votes, for his watercolour ‘West Wales Beachcasting’ .
2018
(Above) Sylvia Davies won with her watercolour ‘First Snow, Neath Canal’.
2022
(Above right) After missing three years due to the Covid lockdown, the exhibition was restored in 2022. The winner was John Lewis for his painting ‘What Have We Done?’ In pen & watercolour.
2023
Ian Philpot won the trophy in 2023, with his two watercolour paintings tying for first place. They were ‘Buttermere Autumn’ (left) and ‘Slaters’ Bridge, Little Langdale’ (below).
